Classes

Classes run weekly during ACT school term 

Classes are held at Kama Scout Hall, Birch Pl, Macquarie

Cost

Preschool to Year 6:    $40 per week

Year 7 to Adult:    $60 per week

First class is half price as a come and try (one half price trial class per person)

  • Mini Glee (Preschool - Year 1) — Thursdays, 3:30 pm to 4:25 pm

  • Year 2 – Year 6 — Thursdays, 4:30 pm to 5:25 pm

  • Year 7 – Year 10 — Thursdays, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm

  • Year 11 – Adult — Thursdays, 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

  • Grown up Adult (40+ years) — Saturdays, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Class Description
3:30pm-4:25pm (55 mins)
Mini Glee
(Preschool to Year 1)
$40 per class
  • This class is designed to give children an introduction to singing, dancing and performing songs from musicals and movies.

  • The class will be run by a minimum of two experienced teachers with expertise in singing, dancing and performing.

  • The group will work on unison singing across a range of age appropriate genres, including musicals, children's movie music and pop. 

  • Harmonies and part singing will be introduced when the group is ready.

  • Songs will be rehearsed with dance, movement and/or characterisation.

  • The club will prepare for performances (approximately 1 per term).

  • $40 per week, debited weekly across a termly enrollment. 

 

4:30pm to 5:25pm (55 mins)
Year 3 to Year 6
$40 per class
  • This class is designed to give children a class which focuses on singing, dancing and performing songs from musicals and movies.

  • The class will be run by a minimum of two experienced teachers with expertise in singing, dancing and performing.

  • The group will work on unison singing across a range of age appropriate genres, including musicals, children's movie music and pop. 

  • Harmonies and part singing will be introduced when the group is ready.

  • Songs will be rehearsed with dance, movement and/or characterisation.

  • The club will prepare for performances (approximately 1 per term).

  • $40 per week, debited weekly across a termly enrollment.

 

5:30pm to 7:00pm (85 mins)

Year 7 to 10

$60 per class

  • This class is designed to give teenagers a class dedicated to singing, dancing and performing songs from musicals and movies.

  • The class will be given vocal instruction with unison, harmonies and solo singing opportunities across a range of age appropriate genres particularly musicals, movie music and contemporary.

  • Songs will be rehearsed with dance, movement and/or characterisation.

  • The club will prepare for performances (approximately 1 per term).

  • $60 per week, debited weekly across a termly enrollment. 

 

7.30pm to 9:00pm (85 mins)
Year 11 to adult (to approx 40 years old)
$60 per class
  • This class is designed to give older teenagers and adults a class dedicated to singing, dancing and performing songs from musicals, movies and other contemporary repertoire.

  • This club is to fill the musical theatre void for people who have not been successfully cast in local productions. The club will also act as a place where you can gain training and experience for future auditions. 

  • Vocal instruction with unison, harmonies and solo opportunities across a range of genres, but particularly musicals.

  • Songs will be rehearsed with dance, movement and/or characterisation.

  • The club will prepare for performances (approximately 1 per term).

  • $60 per week, debited weekly across a termly enrollment. 

 

3.00pm to 4:30pm (85 mins)
Grown up Adult (40+ - give o take a few years)
$60 per class
  • This class is designed to give adults a class dedicated to singing, dancing and performing songs from musicals, movies and other contemporary repertoire.

  • This club is to fill the musical theatre void for people who have not been successfully cast in local productions. The club will also act as a place where you can gain training and experience for future auditions. 

  • Vocal instruction with unison, harmonies and solo opportunities across a range of genres, but particularly musicals.

  • Songs will be rehearsed with dance, movement and/or characterisation.

  • The club will prepare for performances (approximately 1 per term).

  • $60 per week, debited weekly across a termly enrollment.
